Whispering Hollow

Whispering Hollow is a gorgeous little adventure game about exploring an abandoned village and piecing together why everyone left. It's slow in the best sense, with hand-drawn scenes you tap around to find clues and combine items. The whole thing runs offline, so it became my go-to for long train nights.

The puzzles lean on observation more than logic gymnastics, which I appreciated. When I got stuck it was usually because I'd missed a detail, not because the game was being unfair. There's an optional hint system that nudges you gently.

It's fairly short, maybe four hours, but every minute is polished. The atmosphere sticks with you afterward, which is more than I can say for most mobile games.
