Playing offline without killing your battery
Offline gaming is great until you land with a phone at two percent. The good news is that most battery drain comes from a few settings you can control, not from the games themselves.
Turn on airplane mode when you're offline anyway. Your phone stops hunting for a signal, which is a surprisingly large power saver. Then drop the screen brightness, because the display is almost always the biggest drain.
Racing and 3D games like Neon Drift Rush pull far more power than a tile puzzle. If battery is tight, save the flashy stuff for when you're charging and keep something light like MishaPWA1 or a farming sim for the tail end of a long day.
Finally, close background apps before a long session. A game running alone behaves much better than one fighting five other apps for resources.
